The 21-year-old, a regular for United's under-23 side since arriving from Crystal Palace in 2017, featured in the club's opening three Premier League 2 matches of the season.

Hosannah, who can feature at centre-back and full-back, will provide some invaluable versatility to the Bantams.

The right-sided defender is yet to feature for Leeds at senior level, but has been an unused substitute.

Hosannah is Bradford's sixth signing during the current window and his arrival follows on from the addition of forward Gareth Evans from Portsmouth.

Manager Stuart McCall has also brought in Levi Sutton, Billy Clarke, Callum Cooke and Elliot Watt.

Hosannah's loan departure from Leeds follows on from the decision to allow young Northern Ireland international midfielder Alfie McCalmont to join League Two outfit Oldham Athletic on loan for the 2020-21 campaign.

On joining the club, Hosannah said: "I am really happy to be here and glad to have got the move over the line.

"This is a massive opportunity for me and, as soon as I heard of the interest, I told my agent to get the deal done.

"I would like to feel I will bring a lot of pace and energy to the squad and just want to help the team as much as possible.

"I am looking forward to working hard and taking my chances when they arrive, and am really determined to achieve success at this club."

Bantams boss McCall added: "We are really pleased to be able to welcome Bryce and add further to the strength we have in numbers.

"He possesses a lot of very impressive attributes and I am confident he will bring a great deal to our squad.

"There were a few clubs at this level and higher who were showing keen interest in him, so the fact he has chosen to sign for us is very encouraging.

"He certainly fits into the 'young and hungry' category and has a brilliant attitude - which will fit well into the group. I am looking forward to seeing how he continues to develop and progress."
