Charlie Cresswell, son of Richard, signs new Leeds United contract
The 18-year-old is the son of former Whites striker Richard. The Bridlington-born player appeared for a host of Yorkshire clubs, also playing for York City, both Sheffield clubs and Tadcaster Albion. He had a spell as caretaker manager of York, and also played for England Under-21s.
Charlie made his Leeds debut in September's League Cup tie against Hull City. He has played seven times for the Under-23s in this season's Premier League 2, and been called into the last two England Under-19 squads.
Cresswell's new contract runs until 2023.
