Chelsea could beat Leeds United to in-demand forward, Huddersfield Town ace tipped for exit

Leeds United return to Premier League action this weekend, when they look to claim another three points against struggling Sheffield United at Elland Road on Saturday afternoon.

On Wednesday night, Whites star Kalvin Phillips put in another strong performance in and England shirt, as the Three Lions beat Poland 2-1 at Wembley.

Discussing Phillips, England boss Gareth Southgate revealed: "I think everyone has still got to perform well between now and the end of the season in every position.

“We're really pleased with what Kalvin has done. We were going to pick him last March when he was in the Championship. He came in in August before he had played in the Premier League.

“Kalvin has been a great addition to the group. Super boy, great humility, very, very good player. Marcelo has done an excellent job in developing him as an individual but he has a lot of good qualities that are of his and his family's making and I know they'll be very proud.”

Meanwhile, in the Championship, the race for promotion and relegation battle continues with a Good Friday second-tier bonanza, as Barnsley look to maintain their push for the play-offs, while fellow Yorkshire sides Sheffield Wednesday, Rotherham and Huddersfield all the looking to avoid the drop.

Here are today's biggest transfer stories and the latest team news involving Leeds United, Barnsley and a host of other sides from Yorkshire and beyond, as the build-up to the upcoming Good Friday and weekend action continues:
