This weekend was due to be the first one post-Championship season as we looked forward to getting stuck into the play-offs. The drama, the intrigue, the excitement. Instead it is confusion, frustration and eagerness to get back to watching our team in action.
Yet, as things stand, there is still plenty of uncertainty as to what will happen next. The league may return to action behind closed doors or it may be taken out of the EFL’s hands by the powers that be. It has not stopped clubs being linked with transfer moves.

1. Championship loan dilemma
The EFL will stand up to the Premier League in regards to loans if football starts up again. The EFL believes the top-flight clubs should be “obliged” to extend deals already in place, which includes the likes of Ben White at Leeds and Patrick Roberts at Middlesbrough. (The Athletic)

2. Millwall could look to reduce £500k fee for Derby ace
Millwall may look to negotiate the price of their option to buy on Derby County loanee Mason Bennett. The Londonders have a £500k deal in place to turn the loan deal for the forward permanent. Bennett found himself in trouble recently for a slur against his parent club on Snapchat. (The Athletic)

3. Leeds get Koch boost
Leeds United have received a huge boost in their pursuit of centre-back Robin Koch. The 23-year-old German international is keen to leave Freiburg after turning down a new contract. The Bundesliga side want €10m for the player who is also interesting Benfica. (A Bola)

4. Celtic keen on Stoke teenage ace
Celtic want Stoke City starlet Mohamed Sankoh. The 16-year-old Dutch youth international has impressed in the U18 Premier League with interest from around Europe. The player is keen to break into the Stoke first-team. (Football Insider)
