The Championship is back this weekend, starting with QPR’s trip to Coventry City. It has been a very strange summer with the late finish, amended start and unusual transfer window. There isn’t much time for teams around the league to get their business in order, especially with games coming thick and fast in the league and domestic cup.
With budgets reduced and squad sizes smaller shrewd business can be done before the October closure.
