Verdict: A car-crash of a season with boardroom shenanigans, the Football League apparently trying to derail our new owner and then an appalling run of form since Christmas. In the second half of the season, we were poorer than most of the opposition we played.

Best player: Ross McCormack.

Biggest disappointment: Got to be a joint prize for Jimmy Kebe and Cameron Stewart.

Best moment: The 5-1 home win against Huddersfield Town, played out against a backdrop of pure farce.

Lowest moment: Seeing us outplayed by Rochdale in the Cup or the spineless display at Hillsborough.

Where this season has gone right/wrong: The continued instability regarding ownership and finances undermined everything.

Best opposition team: QPR at Elland Road.

Advice to manager: Our squad is desperately short of pace and creativity.

Was the season a success or a failure: Failure on the pitch. However, it is an indictment of our club, that staying up and avoiding administration is a success.
