Leeds United prove popular with broadcasters; Sheffield Wednesday, Hull, Huddersfield and Rotherham to also feature on TV
The broadcaster has confirmed that the opening-day Championship clash with Roses rivals Burnley at Elland Road in Uwe Rosler’s first competitive match in charge on Saturday, August 8 will now kick off at 12,30pm and be screened live on Sky Sports.
United’s home derby encounter with Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday, August 22, has also been selected for Sky coverage with a lunch-time kick-off of 12.30pm.

Hide AdMeanwhile, Leeds’ trip to Derby County on Saturday, August 29 has been brought forward to a 12.05pm kick-off, with Sky to also screen the encounter.
Leeds’ Capital One Cup first-round tie at Doncaster Rovers on Thursday, August 13 will also be televised.
All of United’s games in league and cup in August have seen their date or kick-off time change, with the game at Reading now taking place on Sunday, August 16, (3pm), while the clash against promoted Bristol City at Ashton Gate has been put back 24 hours to Wednesday, August 19 (7.45pm).
Brighton’s home clash with Nottingham Forest will kick off the Championship season on Friday, August 7 with the game screened by Sky Sports.

Hide AdMiddlesbrough’s opening weekend trip to Simon Grayson’s Preston has been put back to Sunday, August 9 - with a noon kick-off for TV coverage.
The following weekend, Hull City’s game at Wolves on Saturday, August 16 will also kick off at noon on Sky Sports.
Other Yorkshire sides to feature in the opening round of Sky games are Rotherham United, whose home clash with Burnley will be screened on Friday, October 2 (7.45pm).
The following day, Huddersfield Town’s game at Wolves will also be shown on Sky TV on Saturday, October 3 (12.30pm).
Boro’s game at Forest on Saturday, September 19 has also been selected for TV coverage with a 12.30pm kick-off.
