Barnsley v Huddersfield Town

Team news: Barnsley will be without top-scorer Craig Davies and David Perkins, both missing with hamstring injuries. Mido’s lack of match fitness precludes his involvement. Central defender Rob Edwards has returned from his loan spell at Fleetwood. For Huddersfield, Jack Hunt is back after serving a two-game ban for his red card against Millwall but James Vaughan is out. Jermaine Beckford does, though, have a chance, while new loanee Simon Church is in the squad after joining from Reading.

Cardiff City v Hull City

Team news: Liam Rosenior (groin), Ahmed Elmohamady (thigh) and Alex Bruce (knee) all face late fitness tests as City look to shatter the only remaning 100 per cent winning record at home. New loanee David Meyler is in the squad following his arrival from Sunderland.

Leeds United v Watford

Team news: The United camp has been dogged by a bug this week but Ryan Hall is set for a recall after scoring four goals in a development squad game on Wednesday. Tom Lees is out with an eye injury but could be back for Millwall a week tomorrow. Roiss McCormack is back in light training but probably three weeks away from a first team return.

League One

Doncaster Rovers v Bournemouth

Team news: Dave Cotterill is set to return after three games out with a calf injury, with Rovers hopeful captain Rob Jones will feature after coming off on Tuesday with a head injury. Kyle Bennett (knee) joins Jamie McCombe (back) on the injured list.

MK Dons v Sheffield United

Team news: Striker Dave Kitson remains sidelined for the Blades with a hamstring strain, while defender Lescinel Jean-Francois (knee) is on the longer-term injury list at Bramall Lane.

League Two

Aldershot Town v Bradford City

Team news: James Hanson is a major doubt for City with the virus that kept the striker out of the midweek draw at home to Chesterfield. However, if he doesn’t make today’s game with the Shots, Hanson is expected to return against Northampton on Tuesday. Kyel Reid is back in training but unlikely to return in time to face Arsenal in next month’s League Cup quarter-final.

Dagenham and Redbridge v Rotherham United

Team news: Jamie Devitt’s loan spell has been cut short due to a hamstring injury, while Kari Arnason is expected to miss out after injuring his shoulder in midweek. Lionel Ainsworth, Scott Shearer, David Noble and Dale Tonge remain sidelined.

AFC Wimbledon v York City

Team news: Alex Rodman could make his debut after joining the Minstermen on loan from Aldershot Town. If the new arrival does slot in on the right side of City’s front three, then Matty Blair will return to the midfield role he has filled for most of the season.
