Team news: Manuel Figueroa is in contention to return after sitting out the midweek defeat to Crystal Palace with a thigh strain as a precaution. Shane Long and Nikica Jelavic will be handed their home debuts as City chase what would be only their second win in 11 games.

Doncaster Rovers v Middlesbrough

Team news: Harry Forrester is expected to be on the sidelines after seeing a specialist yesterday regarding an ankle injury. Gabriel Tamas (hamstring) should be okay, while Rob Jones suffered a slight knee injury in midweek on his comeback from a separate neck problem. Jamie McCombe is still out. Rhys Williams will miss the rest of the campaign for Boro with a season-ending Achilles injury. Jonathan Woodgate and Jason Steele are still out.

Leeds United v Huddersfield Town

Team news: Matt Smith completes a three-game ban for Leeds following his straight red card in the 6-0 debacle at Sheffield Wednesday. For Huddersfield, James Vaughan could possibly return after having an injection in his troublesome knee this week. The derby may, though, come too soon, while Martin Paterson is struggling to be fit.

Sheffield Wednesday v Barnsley

Team news: Wednesday have doubts over Glenn Loovens, who has had a scan on hamstring injury, while Reda Johnson (hip) looks set to miss out again. Joe Mattock returns from suspension, but Giles Coke starts a three-match ban. New signing Jack Hunt goes straight into the squad and could make his debut. Reds boss is hoping to have Jacob Mellis and Marcus Pedersen in contention, with Bobby Hassell also in contention.

Rotherham United v Leyton Orient

Team news: The Millers are picking from strength today, with Lee Frecklington and Rob Milsom, brought off in the midweek win at Tranmere due to a touch of fatigue, both fit and available for this afternoon’s clash with the league leaders. New signings Tom Hitchcock and Nicky Adams should also come into contention.

Wolves v Bradford City

Team news: Kyle Bennett is suspended after being sent off just 25 minutes into his debut against Preston in midweek. The Doncaster loanee will, though, be back to face Crewe a week today after an appeal against the red card saw his ban reduced from three games to just one.

Team news: Ryan Jarvis is again missing with an ankle injury but David McGurk should be available despite suffering a back spasm in the midweek defeat to Chesterfield.
