Team news: Sone Aluko (calf) joins the lengthy list of City absentees that currently includes Mohamed Diame, Liam Rosenior, Gaston Ramirez and Andrew Robertson. James Chester, though, hsa recovered from a knee strain, while Nikica Jelavic has shaken off a bug. Michael Dawson will be on the bench.

Bolton v Leeds United

Team news: Charlie Taylor is likely to again deputise for the injured Stephen Warnock but Alex Mowatt, Sam Byram and Lewis Cook are all in line for a recall after being rested in the FA Cup defeat to Sunderland.

Team news: Rotherham’s trio of loan signings Danny Ward, Adam Hammill and Jack Barmby are all expected to feature but Ben Pringle, who could be leaving the club, is set to be sidelined so as to not jeopardise a move.

Team news: Murray Wallace is a major doubt after being substituted during half-time last week against Reading but Joel Lynch will be fit to step back in. Sean Scannell will also return in place of Adam Hammill, who has moved to Rotherham United.

Nottingham Forest v Sheffield Wednesday

Team news: Kieren Westwood is in light training and Stuart Gray is hoping he will be fit. Sam Hutchinson will be assessed as will Sam Hutchinson, who underwent a fitness test yesterday. Lewis Buxton and Giles Coke return to training early next week.

Team news: Adam Clayton serves a one-match ban, while Emilio Nsue is on African Cup of Nations duty. Ryan Fredericks, Damia Abella and Mustapha Carayol are sidelined along with Rhys Williams, out with another long-term Achilles injury.
