Speaking to Football Insider, the former Elland Road striker has named four first team players who could be set for the axe at the end of the campaign.
The pundit suggests that Kiko Casilla, Pablo Hernandez, Ezgjan Alioski, and Gaetano Berardi are all headed towards the exit door.
He said: "There’s going to be an exodus of players.
“I’ve always thought that Casilla will be one of them. Pablo Hernandez who wasn’t on the bench either.
“Then you’re talking about Alioski and Beradi, who won’t be there.
“There will be four to five players who have been recognised in the first-team for a number of years who will probably be leaving the club and looking for football elsewhere.
“You’ve got to be ruthless in football. There are no friends in this game. No matter how long you’ve been at a club, times move on and players move on. That’s just the way it is."
Between them, the quartet have almost 550 appearances for the Whites between them, but only Alioski has hit double figures in terms of Premier League starts this season.
Hernandez in particular has seen his role reduced from 27 starts in the Championship last season to just two this term.
Elsewhere, Bayern Munich have entered the race to sign Raphinha.
According to Calcio Mercato, the German giants have been majorly impressed with the Brazilian’s debut season in England, and are willing to to do battle with Liverpool and Manchester United to secure his services in the coming months.
The winger only signed for the Whites in the summer, arriving from Rennes for a fee of around £17 million.
Since then, he has gone to score five goals and assist five more in 22 Premier League outings so far.
His influence has gone far beyond goal involvements though
As per Whoscored, the South American has the highest average match rating of any player in Marcelo Bielsa's squad this term, as well as having the most key passes and most successful dribbles per game.
