Illan Meslier – made some good saves late on but it did not undo the damage of Tomas Soucek's equaliser, which he ought to have kept out 6

Stuart Dallas – contained Jarrod Bowen much better than Ezgjan Alioski had 7

Luke Ayling – did not look out of position at centre-back 7

Liam Cooper – lovely ball for the penalty but beaten very easily by Bowen not long after 6

Ezgjan Alioski – struggled to contain Jarrod Bowen early on 5

Kalvin Phillips – Said Benrahma caused lots of problems in the area he was patrolling 6

Raphinha – did not provide the cutting edge he has in earlier appearances 6

Mateusz Klich – lucky to get a second chance from the penalty spot 6

Rodrigo – headed at Lukasz Fabianski late on 6

Jack Harrison – surprisingly ineffective, he conceded the corner Leeds conceded the opening goal from 5

Patrick Bamford – one good shot on the turn was not enough to keep him on the field for the 90 minutes 6.

Substitutes:

Helder Costa (for Harrison, 46) – did not really improve things much despite having a go on both wings in the second half 5

Jamie Shackleton (for Alioski, 46) – a good surge down the right at the start of the half was not a sign of things to come from Leeds 6

Tyler Roberts (for Bamford, 74) – no impact but then no service 5
