Leeds United were on thrilling form in the second half of their victory over Southampton at Elland Road.

It took until the second period for them to kick away from an equally intense Southampton side, but they were very deserving winners.

Diego Llorente – correctly spared a penalty and let off when he gave the ball away early on, but a good pass to help set up the opening goal was one of a number of positive contributions 6

Liam Cooper – a solid display from the captain 7

Pascal Struijk – played his part in the back three 6

Luke Ayling – less eye-catching than usual but did his job 6

Mateusz Klich – succumbed to injury after an hour 6

Stuart Dallas – his outstanding goal was fitting reward for his performance 8

Tyler Roberts – a wonderful pass for Patrick Bamford's opening goal, although he should have put the game to bed with one of his own 7

Jack Harrison – tried on both wings but disappointingly quiet 5

Patrick Bamford – a very assured finish to open the scoring 7

Raphinha – incredible display, he scored a goal and would have had a string of assist but for poor finishing by his team-mates 9
