Since stepping up to Premier League level, the Whites have made great efforts to bolster their youth ranks, both by signing teenage talent from elsewhere, and by tying down their most talented academy products, such as Charlie Cresswell and now Huggins.

The 19-year-old signed his first professional contract in 2019, and it was due to expire next summer. He has been with Leeds since he was six.
