A decent representation for Sheffield United as well, with Hull City and Huddersfield Town picking up two votes apiece, even if they didn’t win their games.

Here’s our line-up in a 3-5-2 formation.

Displayed his goalscoring threat by bagging the leveller for the Blades, after missing a first-half chance. Commanding at the back.

Christopher Schindler (Huddersfield Town)

After a fraught previous weekend, the German delivered a strong performance and was a steadying influence once again.

Football’s shut-down has not stymied his imperious season.

High class again from White at Blackburn. He has found the Championship to be a breeze. The Premier League beckons.

Klich is scoring goals as the song goes and the Leeds midfielder lashed home at Ewood Park to register his sixth goal of the season. Authoritative and influential and set up Bamford’s opener.

George Honeyman (Hull City)

Posed problems with his set pieces and was a key figure throughout at The Hawthorns, albeit in a losing cause.

Jonathan Hogg (Huddersfield Town)

Relished the Roses battle and produced a typically tenacious performance in classic Hogg fashion against Preston.

A player who is signing off in the Championship with poise and purpose. An imposing performance at Blackburn and scored a fine free-kick.

Ben Osborn (Sheffield United)

Making the most of his promotion to starting duties and produced a high-energy display at Turf Moor.

Handed an early booster with his goal and also hit the post. Displayed a relentless work-rate.

Mallik Wilks (Hull City)

Scored his fifth goal in Hull colours and posed West Brom problems throughout.

Manager/head coach

Marcelo Bielsa (Leeds United)

His side were on the front foot from the off at Blackburn and never let up. Nearly there.

Editor’s note: first and foremost - and rarely have I written down these words with more sincerity - I hope this finds you well.
