Leeds United given 'no chance' of landing £30m-rated winger, ex-Barnsley boss could land Portsmouth job

Leeds United held Chelsea to a goalless draw at Elland Road last weekend, in a fiercely-fought Premier League contest that saw both sides strike the woodwork in the first half.

Speaking after the game, Whites boss Marcelo Bielsa claimed: "We value a lot the point, if there had to be a winner it wouldn’t have been us. In the first half they established a difference in comparison to us.

“In the second half we were slightly better. The superiority they showed in the first half was greater than the superiority we showed in the second half. If we don’t play at the rhythm we play at, the differences between us would be a lot bigger.”

Meanwhile, down in the Championship, it was another weekend of mixed fortunes for Yorkshire's Championship sides, with high-flying Barnsley fighting their way to yet another win, Huddersfield Town picking up a precious victory against QPR, and Sheffield Wednesday falling to their seventh defeat on the bounce, with a 2-1 home loss to Norwich City.
