Since the Argentine’s arrival in the summer of 2018, Bielsa has requested to sign one-year deals only, something the Elland Road hierarchy has been happy to agree to.
The only downside however, is it does bring its fair amount of speculation, though there is nothing to suggest Bielsa will quit the Whites at the end of the season.
Indeed, it seems increasingly likely the 65-year-old will manage a fourth season in West Yorkshire, as per Argentine news outlet AS.
Known as ‘El Loco’ in his homeland, Bielsa is a constant talking point – he managed the national team and achieved legendary status at Newell's Old Boys.
AS report that “despite the fact that Bielsa's contract ends at the end of this season, the feeling is that the commitment of all parties to the project is absolute.”
It claimed Bielsa isn’t worried about his future and neither should Leeds. They add: “With Bielsa, good things are made to wait”.
Should Bielsa remain in LS11, it is reported by Sportitalia TV journalist Gianluigi Longari that he is keen to keep hold of Raphinha.
According to Longari, Manchester United have joined Liverpool in the race for the Brazilian, who has taken the Premier League by storm after arriving from Rennes last summer.
Raphinha enjoyed an exciting partnership with Bruno Fernandes during their time at Sporting Lisbon together.
Fernandes was quoted by Top Mercato in December 2019 saying: "Raphinha, I miss Raphinha.
"He’s a player with whom I had a different chemistry from the others. He understood me at a glance.
"He knew, according to the movement of my body, where I was going to put the ball to him. I also miss him because he brought joy to the locker room. He’s also a responsible and hardworking person."
