Leeds United target eyes Premier League switch, Huddersfield Town could miss out on international striker

Huddersfield Town tricky run continued last weekend, when they made it seven games without a win after being held to a 1-1 draw by Luton Town at Kenilworth Road.

The result saw the Terriers continue their troubling slide down the table, and they currently lie in 17th place - just five points away from the relegation zone.

Speaking after the match, manager Carlos Corberan admitted that Luton had deserved their share of the points, and claimed: "We wanted to take the three points, but at the same time they thought they could be close to the goal, too, but at the end I think the draw was the normal result."

“It’s so difficult to control this game, in terms of the pitch, the conditions and the emotions of these types of games. We created some good opportunities, but at the same time we had to defend very strong with a lot of attention from the set-pieces they create because we know that they are good at them.”

Next up, Huddersfield return to Championship action on Saturday afternoon, when they take on bottom of the table Wycombe Wanderers at the John Smith's Stadium, in what will be a must-win game for the Terriers as they look to turn around their form.

Meanwhile, in the Premier League, Leeds United are gearing up to take on Arsenal this weekend, as they continue their push to break into the top half of the table.
