Leeds United's Daniel Farke bossing Championship manager of the month award as he makes it three out of four

For someone who said earlier in the season he was not interested in individual awards, Leeds United's Daniel Farke is racking up the Championship manager of the month prizes.

Farke only won the award once in two title-winning seasons with Norwich City but has now been given the accolade three times in four months.

Like the January prize, February's was a bit of a no-brainer as the Whites continued their 100 per cent start to 2024 in the league, a run only ended by Huddersfield Town in March.

They only conceded once in that time, and that was in pulling off an impressive double over Leicester City, the league leaders they have helped to reel in.

Leeds did go out of the FA Cup in February, but only after arguably outplaying Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, losing 3-2 to Conor Gallagher's stoppage-time strike. They set up the fifth-round tie by winning 4-1 at Plymouth Argyle in extra time.

Leeds midfielder Ilia Gruev missed out on the players’ award, beaten to it by Ipswich Town’s Omari Hutchinson. Hutchinson also saw off competition from Sheffield Wednesday’s Ike Ugbo.
