No Daniel Farke celebrations, just Leeds United pride after 3-1 Burnley win
Daniel Farke was effusing to celebrate as Leeds United hit 43 points, but he was happy to talk about the pride he had in his players.
History suggests the Whites will struggle to go down from here, but the here and now is more important. They are nine points above the relegation zone and Tottenham Hotspur have only 12 to play for.
If Spurs fail to win at Aston Villa on Sunday, a draw at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will confirm Leeds' place in next season's Premier League.
But after a 3-1 win at home to already-relegated Burnley, anyone refusing to count their chickens is just being over-cautious.
"We will just celebrate once it's mathematically done, but 43 points is good," said Farke, who has never kept a team in England's top flight before.
"I don't want to stop on 43 points. I don't see why we should be right now. I just think hopefully it's enough because we're in such good shape and delivered so many good performances.
"As I said before, the game, (there are) 12 points to fight for. Right now we have the first three under our belt. We want to win the following nine.
"It was a massive win for us today and of course the first goal (was important).

"In such a pressure game for us, of course, a home game against an already relegated side, it's always tricky.
"And Burnley, what you have to say, they're always a compact, competitive side. They have good footballers, if you allow them to play football. It was important to find a good balance, not to be nervous or over-motivated to counter-attacks, but on the other hand also, of course, to open them knowing how difficult it is to score goals against them.
"You just have to ask Man City on the last gameday (when an Erling Haaland goal was all that kept Pep Guardiola's title push on track). They played a similar formation also with three centre-backs on the pitch."
It was important Leeds took the lead early through Anton Stach, on his first start since injuring his ankle in the FA Cup quarter-final.
It took until the second half, but Noah Okafor and Dominic Calvert-Lewin added to the lead, only for Loun Tchouna to score a late and scant consolation goal.
"It was a fantastic goal from Anton to score the first one," said Farke of the long-range effort.
"Of course, you're still nervous until you score the second and the third. It was important within the second half to stay with the foot on the gas.
"There was a fantastic team goal (for Okafor) and also a hard-fought goal (by Calvert-Lewin). Of course, in the final minutes the game was more or less done but you still get a bit nervous once they score the first goal.
"We had to take a few important players off due to their little injury problems in the last days and weeks. Then you still get a bit nervous, but today it was just important to bring it over the line to be already on 43 points.
"I'm just proud of my players today and I have to give them so many compliments.
"To deliver in such a pressure period in the last four Premier League games – 10 points, six unbeaten.
"Although we had also a historical cup run, where we also concentrated on important games, it feels amazing. Also keeping in mind how many key players were out in these games – Joe Rodon, we missed a lot, Anton Stach, Jaka Bijol, there's no Ilia Gruev at the moment.
"The mentality and the work ethic and the unity and the spirit in the dressing room of these lads is really second to none. I'm just proud of what they delivered."
