Premier League table without VAR - where Leeds United, Everton, Burnley, Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur would sit

VAR has frustrated and delighted fans in equal measure this campaign but how would the Premier League table look without the technology's interference?

The video assistant referees have been the subject of much debate since their introduction in the English top flight ahead of the 2019-20 campaign.

Burnley players and fans were irked by its involvement at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday as Kevin Friend was instructed to have a second look at an incident when Davinson Sanchez’s flick struck Ashley Barnes’ outstretched arm in the box.

As with many decisions, opinion was split on whether it was the correct decision. Every club has benefitted from the use of VAR at times this season while also feeling let down by the technology on other occasions.

Goals, penalties and red card are all subject to VAR with over 100 incidents leading to an intervention from Stockley Park so far in the Premier League this season.

Using ESPN data, we have looked at how VAR has affected every result in the Premier League this season - and woked out how the table would look without the involvement of the video technology.
