YOUNG Leeds United forward Rafa Mujica has completed his move to Spanish Segunda Division outfit Las Palmas on loan for the rest of the season.

Mujica, 22, who has 18 months left on his contract at Elland Road, has recently had a temporary spell at Real Oviedo.

The Las Palmas-born forward had a previous loan stint at Spanish second-tier side Extremadura in 2019-20, but it was cut short early for him to link up with Villarreal B.

Meanwhile, United midfielder Conor Shaughnessy has been released by the club and will join League One side Rochdale.

The 24-year-old has featured 15 times in all competitions for Leeds in all competitions, with his last appearance coming in the EFL Cup in Auust 2018.

The Galway-born player has had previous loan spells at Hearts, Burton and Mansfield.
