Round-up: Leeds United wingman departs as Doncaster Rovers make contingencies
LEEDS UNITED winger Jack Harrison has moved to MLS side New England Revolution on a permanent transfer for an undisclosed fee.
The 29-year-old initially joined on a season-long loan from Manchester City for the 2018/19 EFL Championship.
The following campaign, Harrison rejoined on loan and went on to play a key part in helping Marcelo Bielsa’s side to promotion to the top flight, lifting the Championship trophy.
After the historic return to the Premier League, Harrison returned on a temporary basis once more for the 2020/21 campaign and was officially announced as a Leeds player in the 2021 summer transfer window after excelling in the 2020-21 season.

The following season saw the club secure safety on the final day when the winger scored a stoppage-time winner at Brentford to spark jubilant scenes, confirming a third year at the top level.
Following time away from the club on loan at Everton, Harrison returned in 2025/26 by making 13 appearances for Daniel Farke’s side, before heading on loan to Serie A outfit Fiorentina, where he made 22 appearances.
Doncaster Rovers have lined up Cheltenham Town winger Jordan Thomas as a direct replacement for Luke Molyneux, who is set for a move to ambitious League Two outfit Salford City after a fee was agreed.
Molyneux is out of contract next summer and has rejected Rovers' overtures regarding a new deal.

Thomas, 25, left Cheltenham this summer after a three-year stay with the Robins.
Rotherham United boss Alex Bruce is hoping to sign a clutch of players with the proceeds from the sale of Sam Nombe to MK Dons, with the club currently having just 12 first-team players.
He said: "We won't have 12 players, we'll have more. We'll just have to see what kind of numbers we can get to. We have to find the right individuals."
