Stuart Dallas gave the hosts the lead after Nahki Wells had seen an 11th-minute penalty saved by Leeds goalkeeper Marco Silvestri.
Terriers captain Mark Hudson levelled from Jamie Paterson’s corner.
Harry Bunn, Karim Matmour and Wells scored in eight second-half minutes to seal a comfortable win for Town.

Souleymane Doukara made it three from Austin’s pass after the re-start.
Leeds eased to the win despite having Gaetano Berardi sent off. The defender saw red for a second yellow card with 17 minutes remaining.

Hide AdManager Brian McDermott was reportedly sacked the previous night, but the club - in the midst of a majority takeover attempt from Massimo Cellino - stressed he remained in charge.
McCormack scored twice from close range and also converted Cameron Stewart’s cross to complete his treble for Leeds under the temporary command of assistant manager Nigel Gibbs, who took control of first-team affairs with McDermott’s future unclear.


Jimmy Kebe finished from McCormack’s pass and Alex Mowatt chipped in a fifth goal after Daniel Ward had given the visitors the lead with a low strike.
