Matt Taylor hopeful Rotherham United's upturn in form will help in transfer market with Millers planning more new arrivals
The Millers claimed a fine point with a 1-1 draw at Watford, seven days on from beating play-off chasing Blackburn Rovers 4-0 in South Yorkshire. Taylor has recruited veteran defender Sean Morrison on a deal until the end of the season along with the loan signings of Leo Hjelde and Tariqe Fosu, from Leeds United and Brentford respectively.
The trio played the entire game at Vicarage Road as Joao Ferreira rescued a point for Watford in a 1-1 as he cancelled out Shane Ferguson’s first-half opener. Watford clipped the visitors’ woodwork on two occasions on what proved to be a frustrating afternoon for the hosts.

Hide AdTaylor hopes the recent uplift for the Millers will mean January business is made that little bit easier in the final days of the transfer window, with the potential for more new arrivals next week.
“We are working towards players coming into this building and into this football club,” said Taylor.
"Hopefully they have watched the last couple of games and can see what we are trying to do and where we are trying to get do and say, ‘yeah, I want to be part of that’.”
Asked if there would be a new arrival next week, Taylor added: “Hopefully, touch wood.”
