MIDDLESBROUGH resume their Championship season with a home encounter with Swansea City on Saturday, June 20, the EFL have confirmed.

After hosting the Swans at the Riverside Stadium, relegation-threatened Boro face a key double-header on the road.

Jonathan Woodgate's side visit his former club Stoke on Saturday, June 27 before a televised appointment down the North Sea coast at another bottom-three rival in Hull City on Thursday, July 2. Kick-off at the KCOM Stadium is at 5pm.

Boro then welcome QPR on Sunday, July 3 before travelling to the capital to face Millwall on Wednesday, July 8.

Bristol City are the visitors to Teesside on Saturday, July 11 and three days later, Boro face another long trip south to Reading.

Boro's final home game of the season is against Cardiff on Saturday, July 18 and they end the campaign at Sheffield Wednesday on Wednesday, July 22.

Hillsborough is a venue where Boro have been relegated twice before on the final day of the season in 1988-89 and 1992-93.
