Middlesbrough - Fans’ View
Verdict: We deserve to be where we are, thanks to our fluent counter attacking style and rock solid defence. We appear to have banished that soft underbelly of last season. My only concern is not killing teams off and scoring enough goals.
Where this season has gone right/wrong: We look geared for automatic promotion.

Hide AdBest moment: Stewart Downing coming on at Wolves and changing the game for us after being dropped. The perfect response.
Lowest moment: Losing meekly to Hull – parallels with defeats to Bournemouth and Watford last season.
Best and worst opposition teams: Hull were impressive. We were out-fought and out-thought that day. Charlton were desperate at the Riverside, arriving with a damage-limitation plan. Awful.
What needs to be done in the transfer window: Try to bring back Patrick Bamford on loan to boost our goals haul.
Predicted finish: 2nd.
