Neeskens Kebano ensures Middlesbrough's Neil Warnock gets his man after all

Having suggested he might have to do without, Middlesbrough manager Neil Warnock managed to sign the midfielder he wanted after all.

Shortly after the transfer deadline, Boro completed the loan signing of Fulham central midfielder Neeskens Kebano.

The 28-year-old Congo international became the Teessiders' second deadline-day signing, following the arrival of winger Nathaniel Mendez-Laing, also on loan.

The pair follow the earlier signings of right-back Darnell Fisher and winger Yannick Bolasie.

Meanwhile, Patrick Roberts' loan was cut short, with the attacking midfielder joining Wayne Rooney's Derby County on loan instead.
