MK Dons 1 Hull City 3 - Josh Magennis brace fires Hull to top of League One
The Northern Ireland international suffered heartbreak with his national side as they were beaten 2-1 by Slovakia in a Euro 2020 play-off final last week.
He was thrust straight back into the Hull side by manager Grant McCann and scored twice as City claimed all three points at MK Dons.

Alfie Jones and Hakeeb Adelakun were the only players to keep their place in the City side from the 3-0 win over Grimsby Town in the Papa John's Trophy on Tuesday night.
James Scott dropped to the bench while there was no place in the squad for Greg Docherty or Thomas Mayer.
Magennis's inclusion reaped immediate rewards as he scored two goals in a four-minute period during a frantic first half.

The hosts hit back almost immediately. Stephen Walker grabbed the goal as he drove a shot into the net with his right foot.
The visitors responded even quicker to the setback, as Magennis grabbed his second of the afternoon when he converted from Callum Elder's delivery.
Walker was almost in for his second goal just after the half-hour mark but Matt Ingram made a smart save to preserve City's lead.
