Ryan Hall put Town in front, only for Kallum Griffiths to soon put the hosts level before Boafo took over.
Max Leonard was at the double for Pontefract Colls, who saw off Winterton 4-2 to book their place in the hat for the third round of the NCEL League Cup. Aaron Moxam and Jack Mawson also struck for Colls.

Hide AdAction in the West Riding County Cup saw Ossett Albion hold their nerve to triumph 4-3 on penalties after their tie with Knaresborough Town ended deadlocked at 2-2. Two goals were netted in the final minute of the game, with three arriving in the last ten minutes.
Calum Rodgers and Ben Parkes struck for Knaresborough, with the Albion marksmen being Kieron Thompson and Rob Bordman (penalty).
In the Sheffield and Hallamshire County Cup, Nostell’s worrying streak continued with their unbeaten run extended to 11 matches after slumping 4-1 at Handsworth Parramore.
James Kitson struck a consolation for Nostell.
Hemsworth MW lost out by the odd goal in five in a 3-2 loss to Stocksbridge Park Steels.
