A brace from Lewis Grabban and a third goal from Ryan Yates was enough to see of Huddersfield, who created plenty of chances before Karlan Grant added a consolation from the penalty spot, condemned to defeat.

Demeaco Duhaney, 7: Got forward well in the first half as the hosts' full-backs pushed forward, was subbed with 15 minutes to go.
Richard Stearman, 7: Defended well for the most part could have had a goal after getting into a good position at the other end but Grant could not find him.
Christopher Schindler, 6: Lost concentration in the heart of the defence early in the second half as Grabban scored, which proved costly. Town punished by Forest's cutting edge.

Jonathan Hogg, 6: Subbed with an hour gone but helped the Terriers dominate the ball while on the pitch.
Lewis O’Brien, 6: Struggled to find an end product.
Andy King, 6: Helped Town control possession but saw his side punished by a clinical Forest outfit. Hit the crossbar with a header at 2-0.
Chris Willock, 6: Failed to make a big impact.
Alex Pritchard, 8: Was subbed on the hour but helped the Terriers get forward with intent. Unlucky not to be awarded a penalty in the first half.
