Rotherham United
Richard O’Donnell: Did not have a real save to make, but did the bread and butter stuff well enough. 7
Shaun Cummings: Tidy shift and got forward when he could. 7
Richard Wood: Took a blow in the first half, but shrugged it off well. Won his fair share of headers and organised the backline well and got his bonus of a goal. Performance of typical character. 7
Michael Ihiekwe. Nice and solid and competed well. 7

Hide AdJoe Mattock. One or two moments of danger from Matt Done, but steady enough in the main. 7
Anthony Forde. Miscontrol ensured that he missed a good first-half chance, but produced the well-taken delivery for the all-important goal. 7
Darren Potter. Lovely ball to set up Towell for a chance he should have converted and continued his recent smooth form with another composed showing. Booked. 8
Lee Frecklington. Picture of anguish early on after his afternoon was curtailed by what looked like a pulled muscle. 6

Hide AdRichie Towell. Posed a problem for Dale with his runs at times and showed good energy and persistence levels. 7
Ryan Williams. Not truly his day, but showed flashes in parts. Didn’t stop running and grafted for the team. 7
Kieffer Moore. Put himself about well and posed problems for Harrison McGahey and Jimmy McNulty. No goals this week, but an assertive display. 7
Substitutes: Will Vaulks (Frecklington, 7). Typical hard-working shift for the team in his preferred midfield role. Should have done better with a first-half headed chance, mind. 7
Semi Ajayi (Forde 88), Jonson Clarke-Harris (K Moore 90).
