Walton: Decisive in his forays off the line and made a fine reaction save to deny Fosu early on. Good save at end to deny Forss. 7

Hide AdHelik. Had to sort Toney out between himself and Andersen. Positioning was good, but Toney was an irritant and had the decisive say. 6
Andersen. A night for discipline against a Bees' forward line whose movement was good. 6
Brittain. Big onus on him in his defensive duties down the right. Also showed trademark energy in his forward sorties. Almost picked out Frieser with a superb first-time cross. 6
James. Broke up the play well at times and his positional play was smart. 6

Hide AdMowatt. Went close with a swerving first-half shot as he sought to continue his medley of magic recent moments. Faded as a force on restart. 6
Styles. Won his fair share of challenges, but could not drive Barnsley forward as he did on Saturday. 6
Chaplin. Could not assert himself as he did against Forest. Booked for a challenge on Dalsgaard. Brentford complained that it should have been red, A yellow was the right call. 5
Woodrow. A game of patience against two of the Championship better centre-half pairings in Pinnock and Jansson. Got little change out of them. 6
