Helik: Had his hands full against a Coventry side who were up for the fight. Made a key second-half clearance to deny Gyokeres. 6

Andersen: Tyler Walker and Max Biamou posed problems for the backline. He remained resolute. 6

Brittain: No outlet down the right and was another who found it hard to get into the game. 4

Palmer: Headed a half-chance in the first half at Wilson. But the game passed him by. 4

Mowatt: His former team-mate Matty James and Liam Kelly outshone him in the middle. Did not make the most of some good free-kick opportunities. 4

Styles: Could not dictate offensively and spent much of first half on the back foot. Kept going in second half and set up a good chance for Frieser. 5

Chaplin: Struggled to get into the game against his former club and brought off at the break. 4

Woodrow: Stabbed a chance wide moments before the interval. Other than that, a peripheral figure - had little to feed off. 4

Dike: Passive and did not look to be at 100 per cent. In the wars a fair few times with Coventry’s defenders letting him know they were about. Spurned a late chance. 4

Substitutes: Morris (Chaplin 45). Did not get much joy out of Coventry's backline. 5

Halme (Palmer 57), 6.

Frieser (Woodrow 57). Went close in the second half. 6

Not used: Walton, J Williams, Oduor, Sollbauer, Adeboyejo, Moon.
