Wright: Had Rovers' only first-half chance when his header at full-stretch was gathered by Fabianski. 6

Anderson: Had his hands full against West Ham's forward players, who were full of movement and cleverness. 5

Butler: His look said it all following his error ahead of West Ham's second goal when he carelessly gave the ball away. Matters were compounded by his unfortunate own goal. 5

John: The hosts scored down his side early on, but he recovered well enough. Made some important blocks and competed well. Almost netted a consolation. 6

Halliday: Produced moments of drive in a holding midfield role, but it was a game largely dictated by one of his opposing numbers in Noble. 6

James: Found it hard going alongside a few in Rovers colours against an accomplished West Ham side. 5

Lokilo: Showed moments of promise against Fredericks, better going forward than he is in defending. Came off in second half and looked in discomfort. 6

Okenabirhie: Ploughed a lone furrow up top and endeavoured to compete. Thankless task at times. Fired over in stoppage-time. 6
