Ratings - How Doncaster Rovers players fared at Crewe

Jones: Crewe forced a number of first half corners, but the Thorne lad was protected well enough. A good save to keep out Beckles' header, but beaten soon after in the second half and had little chance. 6
Halliday: Crewe were dangerous down their left with their quick play and movement and the full-back had to dig in as Crewe pressed. 6

Hide AdWright: Kirk was a lively customer and Mandron put himself about. Kept busy. 6
Anderson: Assigned with holding the back line together amid a fair bit of pressure at spells. 6
James: Had Rovers' best attacking moments in the first half and again showed his eye for a chance. Booked for blocking dangerman Kirk in second half and hobbled off the field after coming off second best. Worrying. 7
Smith: A couple of sloppy moments in the first period and one perhaps should have led to an opener from Murphy. 5

Hide AdBostock: Could not dictate with Crewe playing at a high tempo. Came off with what appeared to be a problem early in the second half. 5
Coppinger: Some nice touches and worked hard without the ball when Crewe pushed Rovers back. Nearly caught Crewe keeper Richards out with a free-kick. 7
T Richards: Showed glimpses of quality, none moreso when he slipped in James on the half-hour mark. Not much alongside him and Coppinger. Pushed up front in second half. 6
Lokilo: His early corner went into the net, but it was ruled out for an infringement. 5
