Viktor Johansson – not worked much, he produced a good second-half from Lukas Jutkiewicz 7

CAPTAIN'S PERFORMANCE: Rotherham United's Richard Wood

Wes Harding – got forward when he could and his long throws were a threat 6

Michael Ihiekwe – dealt with what little Birmigham City threw his way 6

Richard Wood – got stuck even, even overlapped at one point, and ended with his head strapped up. A rugby tackle which got him booked was the only blot 7

Angus MacDonald – seemed to be struggling in the second half but soldiered on 6

Clark Robertson – a lovely pass too release Wood down the left was his highlight 6

Matty Crooks – made an excellent slide tackle on Jonathan Leko, but unable to have the attacking influence he would have wanted from a deeper position 6

Shaun MacDonald – battled well in central midfield 6

Lewis Wing – the ray of sunshine in an otherwise low-quality scuffle 8

Michael Smith – missed a good chance from a Crooks pull-back and put a header onto the roof of the net 5

Freddie Ladapo – showed some bright moments without being able to provide the finish 7.

George Hirst (for Ladapo, 80) – a brilliant turn was his first contribution 6

Jamie Lindsay (for S MacDonald, 80) – N/A

Ben Wiles (for Robertson, 80) – N/A.
