Rotherham United 1 Huddersfield Town 1 - Terriers strike late to share spoils with dogged Millers
Rotherham, after an afternoon in which they displayed magnificent attitude in defence, conceded with almost the final kick of the game when full-back Pipa's shot deflected into the net via Angus MacDonald.

Hide AdThe Millers had taken the lead towards the end of the first half when Ben Wiles drove the ball home from 25 yards with a superb strike.
Huddersfield dominated the possession in both halves but could not find a way past the hosts' defence until the sixth minute of time added on.
The manner of the result will be hard to take for Rotherham but is one that could lift the belief of the Terriers moving forward.

Hide AdPaul Warne lost winger Chiedozie Ogbene on the eve of the contest but was still left with plenty of selection headaches as the returning Dan Barlaser - who signed a permanent three-year deal on Friday - was named on the bench.
Alex Pritchard was absent for the visitors with a quad issue but is expected to return after the international break, along with Lewis O'Brien, Christopher Schindler and Danny Ward, who were all sidelined by injury.
Naby Sarr made his Terriers debut after his first full week of training with the club. He was previously unable to train due to serving a two-week quarantine.

Hide AdThe 27-year-old Frenchmen was a composed figure in the Terriers defence, comfortable with the ball at his feet and constantly seeking to progress play forward.
The Millers exited the tunnel to the song The Mighty Quinn by Manfred Mann as a tribute to former captain Johnny Quinn who made over 100 appearances for Rotherham but passed away last week.
Huddersfield kicked off and were presented with a superb opportunity to take the lead after only two minutes.

Hide AdHarry Toffolo dragged an effort wide but Isaac Mbenza was alert to reach the ball and cut it back for Fraizer Campbell, who looked poised to score only for Angus MacDonald to get a fantastic block in to divert the ball behind for a corner.
The Terriers looked to dominate possession but Rotherham still posed a threat on the counter attack, with Freddie Ladapo sending a warning to the visitors when he burst up the field but was unable to find a supporting runner with Town scrambling to get back.
The Millers were proving a threat from set pieces and the opening goal came shortly after their first corner.

Hide AdThe ball was cleared by Huddersfield but Kieran Sadlier was able to find Wiles in some space and the midfielder hammered a precise shot into the bottom corner and out of Ben Hamer's reach from 25 yards.
Rotherham defended superbly in the second half, absorbing plenty of pressure from Huddersfield but were unable to fashion any chances of their own.
Huddersfield had plenty of opportunities to level with Jamal Blackman parrying away an effort from Terriers full-back Pipa late on.

Hide AdAdama Diakhaby headed a chance wide deep into stoppage time but there was drama still to come as Blackman was rooted to the spot moments later when Pipa's shot flew in off MacDonald.
