Mattock played the full 90 minutes as the Millers lost 3-2 at Queens Park Rangers in midweek in what was the defender's first game since overcoming a hamstring strain.

He came through that fixture unscathed while Ladapo featured for 16 minutes in London, after sitting out the trip to Swansea with a hip problem.

Both players trained on Friday as Rotherham aim to end a two-match losing run against the Cherries, who have won their last three outings.

"Both have trained today and both look in pretty good fettle," said manager Paul Warne.

"They both should be available to join the match-day squad."

Star winger Chiedozie Ogbene, Kieran Sadlier, centre-back Clark Robertson and midfielder Shaun MacDonald all remain sidelined for the Millers.

Warne admitted that Robertson's progress was "frustratingly slow" but hopes the defender will be fit to start training again at some point in January.

"It is frustratingly slow," he added.

"He is doing everything right he has just had a pin put in his foot. Everything else is alright, he has just got to wait really.

"At the turn of the year or later in January he might be available to train which is good for us because we have got a few out at the moment."

Jack Stacey could be sidelined for Bournemouth after picking up a knee injury in their 4-2 victory at home to Reading last weekend.

Cameron Carter-Vickers is still out with an ankle problem while Josh King is self-isolating after testing positive for Covid-19.

The Cherries only league defeat this season came in South Yorkshire, when they were beaten 1-0 by Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough at the beginning of November.
