Rotherham United striker Jamie Proctor joins Newport County

ROTHERHAM UNITED striker Jamie Proctor has joined League Two outfit Newport County on loan until January.

Proctor's move was the only piece of business on deadline day for the Millers, who wrapped up their incoming recruitment on Thursday with the loan capture of Derby County winger Flo Jozefzoon on loan for the rest of the season - with the Dutchman covering for the loss of Chiedozie Ogbene,

Speaking at his press match press conference, manager Paul Warne said there was a possibly that one or two squad players could go out on loan following Curtis Tilt's early loan switch to Wigan Athletic.

Proctor is well down the pecking order at Rotherham and had loan spells at Scunthorpe United and AFC Fylde last season.

The 28-year-old's last outing for the Millers was in the EFL Cup game against Sheffield Wednesday over a year ago.
