Verdict: Last season was one to forget but Chris Wilder has been a refreshing change and has assembled a hard-working squad with something to prove. Hopefully, the Bramall Lane crowd can build a rapport with the team. The standard of League One is not great, it can’t be rocket science to take a club of this size up.

Key man: Billy Sharp – we need his 20 goals.

Advice to manager: Tell it like it is, our fans hate to be taken for fools.
