Sheffield United sell Che Adams to Birmingham City
United granted Adams permission to hold talks with Gary Rowett’s side after receiving a third bid, believed to be worth around £2m, from the Championship club.
“It has been difficult, but we have stood our ground in terms of our value of Che and Birmingham have now matched that valuation,” said United manager Chris Wilder.

United, who had previously rejected offers worth £1.2m and £1.7m from City, have inserted a sell-on clause into the deal which sees Leicester-born Adams return to the Midlands.
Adams, aged 20, described himself as “delighted” to join City during a statement posted online.
