SHEFFIELD United finished the regular season with a goalless draw against Preston North End at Bramall Lane.

It means they go into the play-offs having not won for four games, with Chris Morgan overseeing only one win since succeeding the sacked Danny Wilson two and a half weeks ago.

The Blades finish fifth in League One on 75 points and will face Yeovil Town in the play-offs.

Morgan said: “Going into to game we wanted to win, but it was not to be.

“It was one of those games where it was down to us to create the atmosphere and tempo.

“Late on we had two or three half chances, but a clean sheet is going to be important.

“Looking forward, we’ve got potentially three massive games coming up and I think the clean sheets will be important.”
