Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder's startling League One admission regarding Ryan One plus links with Barnsley winger
SHEFFIELD United manager Chris Wilder has revealed that young striker Ryan One had ‘interest from three-quarters’ of League One ahead of the club deciding to sanction a loan move to promotion-chasing Lincoln City earlier this week.
One has linked up with the Imps for the reminder of the campaign. Rotherham United were one of the clubs very keen to sign the Scotland under-21 international forward.
On his move, Wilder, whose side visit Millwall in the Championship on Saturday, said: “He wants to play, which is a great attribute, that he's got that desire to play. He wants to play for our first team.
"Obviously he's down the pecking order a little bit with Pat (Bamford) coming in and Callum (O’Hare) playing at the top of the pitch and Tyrese (Campbell) and Tom Cannon.

"We think it's a great fit for him and a great fit for Lincoln. We like the way they go about their business, they're at the top of the division.
"He's battling it out, there's no guarantees for Ryan that he's going to go in and play 20 games, but he's got an exciting second part of the season looking forward.
"He's battling it out with a couple of younger players there, so he's got to go and fight his way into that team just as much as the players that we've brought in have to go and fight their way into our team.
"That's the nature of the business, it's the name of the game.

“I am really looking forward to watching Ryan in the second part of the season. We'll have our eyes all over him. We've got a good relationship with Lincoln City and we think that's a really good fit.
"That was another one where there was three-quarters of the league won after him, but we thought this was a really good fit and I'm sure that it will be a successful loan for him and hopefully for Lincoln City.”
On the incoming front, United have been linked with a move for Barnsley winger Reyes Cleary, a player on the radar of several second-tier clubs.
Wilder said: “We know about him, obviously. With him being a local boy (at Barnsley). When you see these boys that are playing at the moment, they are the type of boys that we are interested in. Young players.
"He's one that we've had a look at internally as well. But we wouldn't be doing our job if we weren't. Everybody in the Championship is doing the same as well.”
Tyler Bindon is back in the fray for United at Millwall and the only injured players who are absent will be Jairo Riedewald and Jamie Shackleton.
