Verdict: Disappointing. We started off quite brightly, only to tail off. We have had a lot of injuries, despite having a big squad and we just cannot seem to cure our injury problems. Experts say that you should keep picking an unchanged side, but we seem to get injuries all the time, which are widespread.

Where has this season gone right/wrong?: Just like last season, we are being outmuscled at set-pieces and also do tend to lack pace.

Best moment: Being drawn in the FA Cup at Manchester United. It’s a marvellous draw and should be a brilliant day.

Lowest moment: Losing 4-2 at home to Shrewsbury along with the 4-0 opening-day defeat at Gillingham.

Best and worst opposition teams: Burton were really hard to beat. Fleetwood had a very moderate day against us.

What needs to be done in transfer window: Sign a no-nonsense centre-back.

Predicted finish: Realistically, the play-offs.
