Sheffield United launch McCall raid
The Blades drew up a seven-man shortlist for their managerial position with former assistant McCall high up the pecking order after a stellar spell in the Scottish Premier League.
Motherwell finished runners-up this season and would require compensation.

Hide AdIt is understood they have acknowledged the approach from the Blades but that no major developments are imminent.
McCall, who was the SPL’s manager of the year, was formerly an assistant to Neil Warnock at Bramall Lane.
Milton Keynes Dons chief, Karl Robinson, is also thought to remain in the picture as a strong contender for the position.
United missed out on promotion from League One for the second season this month.
