The Sheffield United wing-back has had talks about playing for the country of his paternal grandmother.

Greece have friendlies against Costa Rica and Mexico in March and the Netherlands in May, but have not qualified for Euro 2020.

“There could be a possibility,” revealed Baldock.

“I’m not too sure how quickly they’d be looking to have me play, I just know there’s a lot of paperwork involved because of the passport situations.

“If they do want me, it would be a great honour. But until it happens, I can’t really say too much more.”

Baldock is English-born but right-back is the Three Lions’ strongest position, with Trent Alexander-Arnold, Kieran Trippier, Aaron Wan-Bisska and Joe Gomez competing for the position Sheffield-born Kyle Walker has lost.
