The short video was filmed by student and Blades fan Declan Kenny while working at the Kyeijanga Modern nursery and primary school for four weeks.

The children, aged about six, were taught the song, which puts new lyrics to the tune of Annie’s Song, written by John Denver.

Mr Kenny, who is studying at Birmingham University, posted the film on Twitter and YouTube, where he wrote: “The children became junior blades and were disappointed to hear United had had a slow start to the season.”

• Here are the rewritten lyrics to the song...

You Fill Up My Senses / Like A Gallon Of Magnet / Like A Packet Of Woodbines / Like A Good Pinch Of Snuff / Like A Night Out In Sheffield / Like A Greasy Chip Butty / Like Sheffield United / Come Fill Me Again.
