Former Owls star Ingesson dies
FORMER Sheffield Wednesday and Sweden midfielder Klas Ingesson has passed away after a long battle with cancer, at the age of just 46.
Ingesson made 21 appearances for the Owls and scored twice after signing from PSV Eindhoven back in September 2004.
He left Hillsborough for Serie A outfit Bari and later played for Lecce and French outfit Marseille, while also being a regular for Sweden.
He played 57 times for his country and played in the 1990 and 1994 World Cups.
After finishing playing, Ingesson managed Swedish outfit Elfsborg.
