Team news: Joel Lynch remains the only long-term absentee and even the defender is back training at Canalside. James Vaughan made his return after five games out last weekend against Blackburn and should be fit to start.

Doncaster Rovers v Sheffield Wednesday

Team news: Ross Turnbull is fit after a calf injury, but the form of Sam Johnstone is likely to ensure that the Rovers’ number one is not rushed back. Rob Jones, boyhood Owls fan Jamie McCombe, Bongani Khumalo, Gabby Tamas and Harry Forrester are all missing. Chris Kirkland could be back in the fray for the Owls if he has suffered no reaction to a calf injury after his return to training yesterday. Sam Hutchinson is back in training after missing the QPR, with Adedeji Oshilaja, fully recovered from a toe problem and now at Hillsborough on loan for the rest of the season, available. Joe Mattock is expected to be on the bench, with Jose Semedo and Reda Johnson still out.

Leeds United v Millwall

Team news: Jimmy Kebe is again missing for Leeds, this time with a hamstring strain. Rodolph Austin could also miss out after suffering a knock in training this week. For Millwall, Steve Morison is ineligible as part of his loan deal from Elland Road.

Middlesbrough v QPR

Team news: Jonathan Woodgate (calf) is fit again, but may have to wait for a first-team recall due to the impressive form of Kenneth Omeruo and Ben Gibson. Muzzy Carayol (knee) is out for six weeks and will undergo surgery to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament next week. Rhys Williams (Achilles) is also sidelined, along with Tomas Meijas (dislocated finger).
